Head of Business Development

With more than 10 years of experience working for many notable UK media-owners including The Times, The Business and The Independent, Matt leads the drive for new business at TRT Direct. With inspiring focus and creativity, Matt identifies precisely where partnerships can yield the greatest benefit for clients and makes it his mission to make it happen. A dynamic and astute operator, Matt delivers new business initiatives through strategic consultation - often with a little humour thrown in - to ensure we have a happy, growing client base.

James Bartys

Sales Director

James heads up TRT Media Sales and manages the day to day running of the division – selling the UK’s largest third party insert portfolio and an increasing online display inventory. James has spent the last seven years at TRT building great relationships with as many advertising decision makers as he can. James leads from the front and his personal sales performance continues to inspire his growing team.

Lisa is brimming with energy and confidence and has developed a great understanding of the media market and the channels clients can use to get positive results. Starting her career in media sales, Lisa soon moved over to the planning and buying side of the media business working on well known UK brands such as Vue Cinemas, Hiscox and The White Company. A straight talking negotiator, Lisa always delivers for her clients going the extra mile whenever she needs to. There’s never a dull (or quiet) moment in the office when Lisa’s around!

Dominic founded TRT Direct in 1998 with the aim of building the most commercially focused UK direct response marketing agency, partnering ‘leading brands with ambitious plans’. As a result, TRT Direct has built a reputation for getting results and attracted a truly enviable client list. Dominic still retains a hands-on role across all clients and is at his happiest when he’s found out what’s making your business tick.

David Swannell

With 19 years’ media experience, David developed his talents at ITV, DPA, MediaCom and Walker Media working with the likes of Universal Records, M&S and Sony Music. His expertise spans all media channels (although DRTV is his biggest passion) and he has a well-earned reputation for consistently delivering successful, innovative and, equally importantly, cost effective media plans for our clients.

Nikkie is a truly client-focused planner, with over 5 years experience working on well known brands such as Glasses Direct, Tempur and Nature’s Best. With experience in TV, radio, press, magazines, inserts and outdoor, Nikkie has an extensive knowledge of the media market, developing strategies which drive results.

Carol heads up the creative and production functions at TRT Direct. She has spent her last 5 years in the role honing her skills and her fantastic organization and excellent attention to detail ensures that campaigns are followed through and deadlines are met. Carol doesn’t make mistakes, and clients love her for it!

Marie O’Brien

Marie takes the lead on all things creative at TRT Direct. She began her design career back in 1999 and now has a vast experience across the different sectors of design, artwork, repro-graphics and printing, working both within in-house teams and at creative agencies.  With her love for design and superior Mac skills, Marie is equally capable of bringing inspirational new ideas to the table or turning artwork jobs around to meet impossible deadlines.

Creative & Production Executive

Chloe works in the creative and production team at TRT Direct.  A relatively new recruit, she is already proving to be a great asset.  Whether dealing with suppliers and clients to guarantee that deadlines are met or proofing creative to check it’s 100% correct, Chloe helps to make sure that our briefs from clients run smoothly.
